Meteorologist Dan Bronis is originally from Chicago, IL, but home will always be Arizona since he moved there in 1999. He also spent some time as a child in Salt Lake City, UT before he moved to the Phoenix Area. Dan began his passion in weather back in his senior year of high school when he then decided to attend Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ (a suburb of Phoenix). He graduated College in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Meteorology/Climatology. After school Dan got an internship at KPNX in Phoenix as the weather intern and from there he landed his first job in Sioux Falls, SD as a weekend Meteorologist at KDLT. After a year at KDLT he wanted to expand his career and got a job at GTN as a Meteorologist in November of 2011.
In his spare time, Dan loves the outdoors. He has family that lives in northern Minnesota and loves to fish up there in what he calls "the best fishing in the country." He also loves to hike, bike and relax outdoors during summer. In the winter months, since he comes from the west, he loves to ski. Although not the best in world he does not mind a black diamond or two when feeling gutsy. Dan will never pass down a vacation, in his spare time he loves to travel from it being day trips to week long trips Dan will find a way to escape.
